Christine Fishlock

I have over 20 years experience as a therapist and offer a safe place to work through issues that arise in life that are often difficult to cope with.

I understand that when you are feeling low, lost and despairing a way forward may seem like a struggle and seeing  a way out may seem impossible.

It is often hard to invest in yourself and think that you really matter.

I will help you explore your world, enabling you to move to a more positive place in your life by gaining a better understanding of yourself and your interaction with others. This may often include us thinking about past experiences that may have an unconscious aspect of affecting your life. We will work together to improve your general health and well-being.

Take the first step to help yourself by giving me a call to talk through the next stage of your life’s journey.

Are you struggling with your thoughts and feelings following a loss in your life?

Grief and Loss come in many disguises. We can often feel grief-stricken by many events in our lives, not just the death of a loved one.

I have a particular passion and substantial experience in working with people who are bereaved.

Bereavement is the state of loss and grief is the reaction to it.

Physical and psychological symptoms can appear that you may find difficult to cope with.

I will work with you to help you work through the impact your unique loss is having on you.

Talking with me about your grief will provide you with an opportunity to gain more understanding of what you are going through, something that is not always possible with family, friends, or works colleagues.

I am a clinical supervisor and work with therapists who require supervision for their client work. I also have experience in supervising trainees who need external supervision as part of their course requirements.

I am passionate about helping to support therapists who are thinking about moving into private practice and offer a mentoring programme personally designed for those who are newly qualified and seeking support and guidance to set up in private practice. This service can be tailored to your specific needs. Please contact me for more information and costs.
