Christine Fishlock

With over 30 years of experience as a therapist. I offer a safe space to work through life’s tough challenges. I understand how overwhelming it can be when you’re struggling. It may seem as if there is no way out and no one to turn to for help and support. It’s tough to believe in yourself and see your worth when you are feeling low.

Together we can work on understanding your feelings and the thoughts that are causing you distress and worry.

We may need to explore your past experiences and how you relate to others that can affect your life without you realising it.

We will work together to improve your overall well-being. I’m here to help you find an optimistic path forward.

Contact me to talk about taking the next steps forward.

Bereavement is the state of loss and grief is the reaction to it.

We can often feel grief-stricken by many events in our lives, not just the death of a loved one, and the impact of this can be overwhelming.

It’s important to understand that bereavement and grief can manifest in many different ways. Talking to someone who has experience of working with people who are grieving can be incredibly helpful. Sometimes it’s difficult to get the understanding and support we need from our family, friends, or colleagues.

I have experience as a clinical supervisor, both with therapists who need supervision for their client work, as well as trainees who require external supervision as part of their course requirements. I offer both face-to-face and Zoom sessions.

As Director of The Counselling & Psychotherapy Centre, I have a great deal of experience in understanding how many issues can crop up when thinking about moving into private practice after your training has been completed. I am passionate about supporting therapists who are planning to take this next step.

Sessions can be conducted face-to-face or via Zoom.

If you would like to know more about how these sessions can help and support you please contact me to arrange an informal chat.
