I have over 20 years experience as a therapist and offer a safe place to work through issues that arise in life that are difficult to cope with.
I am able to help you explore your world, enabling you to move to a more positive place in your life by gaining a better understanding of yourself and your interaction with others. This may often include us thinking about past experiences that may have an unconscious aspect of affecting your life. We will work together to improve your general health and well-being.
I have a particular passion and substantial experience in working with people who are bereaved.
Bereavement is the state of loss and grief is the reaction to it.
Physical and psychological symptoms can appear that you may find difficult to cope with.
i will work with you to help you work through the impact your unique loss is having on you.
Talking with me about your grief will provide you with an opportunity to gain more understanding of what you are going through, something that is not always possible with family, friends or work colleagues.
I am also a supervisor and also have experience of working for a number of years with therapists in training who require supervision or personal therapy as part of their course requirements.
I offer a mentoring programme designed for those who are newly qualified and seeking support and guidance to set up in private practice. This service can be tailored to your specific needs. Please contact me for more information and costs.
