I work with individual and couples concerning their relationship issues.
Offering relationship therapy for clients who are heterosexual, gay and of varying cultures and beliefs, in a safe and confidential environment. Seeking some space and time in a neutral setting, we have an opportunity to express our thoughts and feelings and try to gain insight into the issues which are troubling us in our relationships. I provide individuals and couples with a warm and responsive therapeutic experience to encourage understanding and potential growth.
We all experience challenging times in our relationships and they can evoke many emotions and on occasions we can feel negative, confused and unable to cope with our thoughts and feelings. Changes in our lives, either external factors, or our individual internal need for change, are likely to affect our relationships.
Life phase changes can stir up unconscious or suppressed needs within us and can effect on our partners/friends/family. Examples can be: bereavement, separation, family dynamics, parenting concerns, financial matters, bodily or medical changes, sexual differences… to name a few.
Maybe we have coped for a long time, managing to suppress our feelings, perhaps hoping that all will be well eventually. It is likely that eventually we may experience in our relationships issues such as; communication difficulties, circular and/or repetitive patterns of disagreements, sexual and intimacy needs which are unsatisfied, anger, jealousy, fear or depression.
