Andrea Dell Dip. I.A.C.H. MARH RHom

Background

I work as a Classical Homeopath and CEASE Therapist in clinics in Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire offering treatment for a wide range of conditions. I also see patients internationally via Skype consultations. I am passionate about Homeopathy – and this runs in my family since four generations.

Classical Homeopathy is a real alternative to conventional medicine, especially in the treatment of chronic conditions (e.g. mental/emotional issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, stress related conditions, sleeplessness and depression, but also asthma and allergies, skin conditions, arthritis, gastrointestinal problems or recurrent cystitis). It has been also very valuable in the treatment of acute illnesses (e.g. childhood diseases, common colds and flu, minor household injuries).

Patients suffering from chronic conditions very often reach a state of health in which their GP needs to put them on repeat prescriptions. We know that these drugs can have severe side effects. In many cases these drugs only enable the patient to manage the symptoms without curing the underlying cause of disease. This is where Classical Homeopathy offers a real alternative.
When necessary, homeopathic and conventional approaches can be used alongside one another. (You never should stop conventional medical treatment without discussing it with you GP, as it may be dangerous to stop it suddenly).

Homeopathy is a gentle, deep acting therapeutic system which considers the whole person: physically, emotionally and mentally. Each patient is treated differently and no two patients are alike – even if they have the same diagnosis of illness. When the right remedy is prescribed it will give an impetus to the self-healing powers of the organism and healing takes place from within. The immune system is strengthened and the body returns to a state of health and well-being.

Qualifications and Training

I studied Homeopathy at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy (UK Branch) in London and I subsequently qualified as Homeopath. I hold the Diploma of the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy (I.A.C.H.).

In addition to my homeopathic training in London I have been studying with Prof. George Vithoulkas at the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy in Alonissos since 2006.
Prof. Vithoulkas is the world’s leading homeopath and teacher, who received the Right Livelihood Award, also known as the Alternative Nobel Prize, in 1996 for upgrading Classical Homeopathy to the standard of science.
Further Education:

From 2012 ongoing Predictive Homeopathy Seminars in Germany and India:
Predictive Homeopathy by Dr. Prafull Vijayakar combines his knowledge of the modern medical sciences (particularly genetics, physiology, psychology and biochemistry) with the knowledge of classical homeopathy.

2011:
The Treatment of Autism & Neurological Disorders –  Dr. Paul Herscu

International Certification Course for CEASE Therapy, Cambridge
CEASE Therapy is a detoxification process to clear the patient from the imprint of toxic substances. Step by step all causative factors (vaccines, regular medication, environmental toxic exposures, effects of illness, etc.) are detoxified as part of the classical homeopathic treatment.

I am registered with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH) and a Member of the Register of Homeopaths. All Homeopaths registered with the ARH:

  • practise in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Practice
  • are fully insured
  • and committed to continuing professional development.

Experience

I have been practising Classical Homeopathy in my clinics since 2008, working with all age ranges and having seen newborn babies and octogenarians alike.  Please see, what my patients have to say: http://homeopathywiltshire.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=63&Itemid=67

I am actively involved with the ARNICA UK PARENTS SUPPORT NETWORK since a number of years, enabling parents to support their children to maintain or improve their natural immunity (http://www.arnica.org.uk/).

Since 2014 I have been privileged to support young men taking part in the Key4Life Rehabilitation Program. Key4Life Charity’s mission is to reduce youth reoffending through the delivery of an innovative rehabilitation programme to those in prison and those at risk of going to prison (http://www.key4life.org.uk).

Furthermore, I was a founding member and trustee at The Heals UK Foundation.
The HUK Foundation existed to provide support, advice and training to Charities, that helped charity trustees, staff and volunteers meet whatever challenges they faced, enabling them to deliver their services desperately needed by those disadvantaged, vulnerable and in poverty.
